What We Do
It is not normal for your feet to hurt. If you experience
long-term foot pain, this could be a sign of an underlying
problem: heel spurs, diabetes, abnormal walking, arthritis
or poor circulation.

and a closer look.

Heel
Pain Treatment - heel pain can occur suddenly
or be chronic and nagging. There are multiple causes
for heel pain. It is common in people who stand or walk
long periods, from an injury or trauma to the heel,
bone spurs or a fracture, from being over weight or
in athletes where repetitive motion can cause the pain.
A variety of treatments are available based on the severity
such as orthotics (supports) for your shoes, anti-inflammatory
medications, physical therapy, weight loss or immobilization.

Computerized
Orthotics/Gait Analysis- a special computerized
process that custom designs shoe inserts to reduce or
relieve foot, heel or limb pain non-surgically. Computerized
Gait Analysis is computerized analysis of your foot
in motion evaluating how your foot hits ground. Prescription
orthotics are made for "your feet only" and
are medically designed for you. Although many of the
over-the-counter devices will help initially, in the
long run they don't correct the problem of abnormal
function in "your specific foot." Similarly
where an optometrist or opthomologist prescribe prescription
glasses for your eyes, podiatrists prescribe foot inserts.

Treatment
of Fungal Nails - fungus that forms under toe
nails often from a toe injury. The fungus is often from
the same fungal family as Athlete's Foot. Causes the
toe nail to turn black, have ridges and look unsightly.
Easily treated with prescription oral anti-fungal medications.

Diagnostic Ultrasound - This is a realtime diagnostic
view of a patients problem eg. neuroma, stress fractures,
fascitis, ganglions. It is painless, cost effective,
covered by most insurance plans. It also aids in ultrasound
guided injections which afford a more direct application
of medication in a more controlled manner. Patients
have a better appreciation for their condition since
they can see it on screen in realtime.

Ingrown
Toe Nail Care - can be caused by a variey of

Bunions
Removal & Treatment - bunions are caused
from abnormal motion of the foot from a muscle imbalance
or abnormal foot structure. They are often hereditary.
Bunions can be treated surgically or non-surgically,
depending on the severity of the bunions. Non-surgical
treatments may include change in shoe gear, orthotics,
cortisone injections, special padding, or physical therapy.
